A story of the past.

She's waited for me after track club in our classroom. She was the silent girl who sat staring out of the window of the classroom, but her grades were as good as mine. I envied her to be honest, I had wished throughout high school to sit near the window.

"Miya-san..." she called me, when I walked into our deserted classroom.
"Oh... I didn't expect anyone to still be here." I said, surprised at her presence.
"Normally I'd have left already, but I noticed you had left your bookbag and waited for you." she admitted to me.
"Oh... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make anyone wait." I said, blushing that she'd waited cause she wanted to "protect" my belongings.
"No... no..." she said, interupting me as I tried to bow. "I wanted to see you...."
"Why me?" I asked aloud, knowing we'd barely interacted all year and feeling somewhat guilty about it.
"Miya-san... I..." she started, her eyes downcast. She worked up her courage, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "I... really like you." she said.
I was stunned by her confession, and more stunned by her next move. She stepped into me, pressing against me and desperately pressing her lips to mine.
I didn't know what to do. My body tried to react, to step back or oddly, to step into her kiss. Her lips were soft and moist, her hands gentle against my back. Her tongue parted my lips and slipped inside my mouth. I found myself kissing her back, enjoying the kiss, excited by it. She oomphed into me as I pulled her tight against me. "Haaaa." Her voice made the smallest sound, my fingers sliding over her top, then finding the button on the side of her skirt. We danced through the rows of desks until we were hidden by the teacher's podion. Her skirt fell down her legs, and my hands slid over the smooth fabric of her panties. My fingers had a life of their own, caressing her body, the movements not conscious but rather following the flow of her body. We became lovers and when graduation came, we parted friends. I loved her, she loved me, but life didn't keep us together. I still hear from her today, and sometimes when she is in town she visits. Those nights are good, the two of us sharing each other's warmth in my futon but we're no longer together, our bodies just call to each other. Her name still comes unbidden in the nighttime and my heart aches for her during the long winter nights.

Too hot to hoot

I'm finding myself very entertained by palindromes lately. They're great because if you remember just part of the phrase, you can figure out what the rest is pretty easily. I'm no good at coming up with my own but I like the ones other people have thought of. It's pretty silly that the word "palindrome" doesn't work to make a palindrome out of it though. Whoever thought up the word "lisp", on the other hand, was spot on.

A strange girl... but cute

They had fireworks down at the riverfront yesterday. I had intended to go down and watch them, but when I arrived the place was packed. And with couples no less! I was disappointed and saddened by this turn of events. Why can't I go out and have fun without having a boy on my arm?

As I walked back home, I watched them blossom like flowers in the sky. I would have felt weird shouting "Tamiya!" and "Kagiya!" by myself. Thankfully, I wasn't alone. One of the neighborhood girls was standing in her front yard, with her robe pulled around her and her slippers on her feet, watching the fireworks go off. I waved to her and for a few minutes we had our own private fireworks show. I stood on her yard with her and we shouted at the night sky together. It wasn't a big moment, but it was a good one.

I heard her mother chastising her when she went inside about wearing her slippers in the dewy yard.

It made my day.

Fire blossoms

I heard a bang and went outside to look... it's fireworks! I don't know what the occasion but someone somewhere nearby was having a fireworks show. It was really pretty. Mom scolded me for getting my slippers wet from standing on the dewy lawn still wearing them but it was worth it. It was just so... magical. ♥

The first day on the job....

I was recently hired as a temp at one of the local cleaning services. I didn't expect my first day to be so... hard.

I'd arrived early at my destination and gazed at the normal looking two story house. I read the name on the card and walked up to the door. I knocked twice per company policy before I let myself in. The job was one of the upper bedrooms and just the upper bedroom. Apparently the homeowner's adult daughter had moved back home recently and fallen behind on cleaning her room due to conflicts at work. I understood that, my own bedroom was a wreck and between work and school I didn't foresee it getting any better.

I was shocked when I opened the door and saw her there, typing at her keyboard. "Sorry... I didn't mean to interrupt you..." I said, fidgetting in the doorway. "The service sent me over to clean...."

She nodded to me.

"Don't mind me...." I said, as I walked in, eyeing the bedroom. I've seen worse, but... this was going to be a job. "Do you mind if I open the window?" I asked her and she didn't say no, but was working away at her computer. I'd heard stories of this sort of situation and I felt nervous...  But I wasn't as nervous as I could have been, had she been a boy, I'd have been gone already.

I started cleaning up her room, taking the garbage down to the cans in the garage and organizing. The room wasn't too bad, just a bit messy. The worst part was her desk, but... I wasn't ready to ask her to vacate it. I didn't want to interrupt her. I tried to talk to her, and she was nice, but not too friendly. I did... catch her looking my way. I felt nervous, but... I wondered if she thought I was a thief. I spooked a cat out of under her bed and jumped at its sudden appearance.

"I'm sorry! I should have warned you about the cats." the girl said, turning to face me.

"Its ok, just... spooked me." I said.

She stepped up to me and stroked my hair. Nervous? I was more than nervous. "You... are cute when you're spooked."

My dear friend Nina-chan is so adorable when she gets embarrassed about something. It makes me want to snuggle her and that just makes her blush even more! But she looks so cute in our school uniform. I saw her out tending the garden today during lunch. It's only fitting a pretty girl makes pretty flowers, ne? ♥

Summer is the Season of Yukata

Neesan suggested we get our yukata out of storage before the start of summer and try them on. Good thing we did because mine doesn't fit very nicely anymore! ^_^; No, not so much there... just a bit taller so the hem is a bit too high. And the sleeves a little short. Neesan's obi was attacked by neko-san sometime since last summer. So we're going shopping soon! I'm so happy. Neesan is so good at finding the perfect look. ♥
